Create Your Own Digital Menu Board: Getting Started

To set up your digital menu board, you basically need two things:

1. The Hardware: A Screen & Internet Connection

The centerpiece is, of course, the screen. You don’t need an expensive, specialized monitor. If you have a smart TV, getting started is easy, since you can use a web browser or our app (for Android TV or Fire TV) right away. Alternatively, a regular TV with an HDMI port and, for example, a Fire TV Stick will work just fine. The only important thing is that it’s positioned so it’s clearly visible at your location.

2. The Software: SignageNow

This is where the magic happens. SignageNow’s digital signage software connects your screen to your content. You create your menu on your computer, receive a personalized URL (link), and enter it into your browser or the app—and you’re done!
