How do I get started with SignageNow? It’s very simple. Here’s a step-by-step guide.
Preferences / Pre-check for SignageNow
Requirements:
These requirements are essential for using SignageNow on your screen or TV.
You need either:
- A Smart-TV with Google TV (Android TV OS) or Fire TV and our free app
- An internet connection
- A SignageNow account
Or:
- A TV with an operating system and built-in browser (Samsung Tizen, LG WebOS, VIDAA, Google TV, or similar)
- An internet connection
- A SignageNow account
Alternatively:
- A computer, tablet, or smartphone with a browser app
- An internet connection
- A SignageNow account
Option 2: Using a Fire TV Stick, Chromecast, or similar device connected to your TV
If your TV isn’t a smart TV and doesn’t have a built-in browser, you can also use a Fire TV Stick, Chromecast dongle, or similar device to access our software. This allows you to use the device’s built-in browser or our free app to play the SignageNow digital signage playlist.
Important: To play the SignageNow playlist without issues, you must adjust or disable the power-saving settings for the screen, computer, and/or TV so that sleep mode does not activate during playback.
